| THE TECHNOLOGY |
| The workcams are WinCam.Live cameras. The
homecams are IP-addressable NetCams connected to a
Linksys router and cable modem. A computer is not required to run the cameras and I can run up to
253 behind a single DSL or cable modem account. Each camera is automatically assigned its own IP
address and viewing/configuration is done with any standard web browser. They're great for
increasing web traffic, can be used as security cameras and can even be turned into wireless
cameras. |
